This is a relatively easy/moderate hike next to the Salmon River through a forest with old-growth evergreens to a canyon viewpoint. Woodland wildflowers bloom here in the spring, but it had been raining heavily so they were all droopy. Distance for this out-and-back hike is about 7 miles with 1,000 ft. gain.
